Such a spacious house! The photos don’t show just how big it really is—our group of 13 fit easily with room to spare. Megan was a great host and super quick to help when we had a small issue with the entry code. Loved staying here and would definitely come back!

Megan's Airbnb was everything we wanted/needed and more. The location was perfect, the size was just right for my family , the amenities went above and beyond. The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at.

Our family gathered at Megan's house to celebrate my husband's 80th Birthday. We had family of 14 meet there from Hawaii, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Virginia & the UK. We also had our pets with us. Trip, Darla, & Lulu (dogs) plus our support animals Bunz, & Fieval. Once iI walked through the door, I knew I had picked the perfect place for our gathering. The home is beautiful, comfortable & well equipped. We were in the area during the close of the summer season, which proved perfect for our needs. The weekends were busy with motorcycle & car shows, plus local weekend activities. Monday thru Wednesday it was quiet and serene. The only problem we encountered, was the Delta sensor faucet battery died. I contacted Megan & before I could finish a YouTube on Delta faucets, she answered my email. The faucet was fixed in less than 20 minutes. Our 2 weeks in Colonial Beach made my husband of 60 years very happy. What more can I ask for in life. God bless you both, Megan & Jim!

We had a fabulous time at Jim’s! The house was lovely and had plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. We loved the dock and fishing right in the back yard was so much fun. We also enjoyed the kayaks and crabbing too and the fenced yard was great for our pup! Jim’s place was perfect for us to reconnect and relax!

Our stay at Megan and Jim’s place was great! It was so relaxing and a perfect way for our family to round out summer! We loved being able to bring our dogs and we loved the backyard and river views! We spent our mornings on the back deck and loved hanging at the house all day or exploring one of the cute towns in the area! Just what the doctor ordered for some much needed R&R!

Absolutely wonderful stay, the house and our hosts were absolutely lovely, it is so hard to vacation with kids and our dog and accommodate everyone, but this house ticked every box. There are so many spaces on the property for everyone, and the things needed to make them cozy. Crab pots were ready to use, with bait ready to put in. The kayaks and SUP were easy for all levels of experience, and PFD’s were available for every size human (and a few k9’s too). The deck was wonderful with great seating, and the perfect place to eat all those crabs we caught. Lots of fishing rods for daytime and nighttime fishing, and the fish lights alone were so much fun to sit and watch the river critters at night. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen is great, the dining area(s) are wonderful, and the utility room is brilliant. The living room offered great views of the creek and was a great spot for our whole family at the end of the day. We’ll be back, the whole family has already asked!

Excellent home! We cannot say enough about our helpful considerate hosts. The home exceeds the photos shown and the mix of historic and modern is so well done. We were 4 generations and all had room and privacy. Plenty of children’s yard and beach toys and we adults enjoyed the bikes. Loved our evenings at the fire pit also. Beach is lovely and people of Colonial Beach so welcoming. We will return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning Airbnb! The property is brand-new —everything was pristine, modern, and clean. It came equipped with every amenity you could possibly need, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy beds bedding, and thoughtful touches that made our stay effortless. The host, Megan was great—super responsive, friendly, and provides you with all the information you will need. The location was quiet but close to all of the attractions in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our trip—this place deserves more than five stars! Highly recommend! Oh and I love the decor throughout the house :) Thanks Megan for a wonderful stay!

The home was absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a family vacation to the beach and the home felt so much like our own. Not having to pack up the car and drive to the beach was a plus since we were in walking distance. Loved the community garden and playground next door. Would recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful home, spacious, open and inviting. The front porch alone takes you back in time. Host was quick to reply with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home if you’re looking for space for a lot of people.
