Clean, well appointed, and comfortable. I spent my time on the dock, on the deck, and at the fire pit. Extremely relaxing and peaceful. Loved my stay here. - Ryan H. James place is a great peaceful getaway that accommodates a large group of guests! We had a family get together of 7 people, and the space was extremely clean and spacious. We really enjoyed kayaking and fishing in the creek out back, James place provides all the equipment you may need. We also spotted a large turtle that seems to live by the dock! Our family loved the local seafood, such as Leadbelly’s restaurant at fairpoint marina. The neighbors and locals were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the hosts were also very responsive. Please note that this is salt water and all waterfront homes in this area, up and down the Coast, will see jellyfish during the summer. The Chesapeake Bay experiences jellyfish from the months of June-August. There is no way to predict how many will be there. Some weeks you will see very few and some more.
